At the rescheduled Santa Monica Mall stop on Monday, Selena performed and according to eyewitnesses appeared to be holding it together while still under the weather. She addressed the hospitalization saying she it was malnourishment and exhaustion that caused the health issues.
During the mall appearance, someone managed to get in the standard question related to her boyfriend, Justin Bieber. Gomez was asked if Biebs got her anything special while she was under the weather. Selena's response was to play coy as she nonchalantly answered, "I got some very loving support from all my family and friends." Well played Selena, but is Justin Bieber going to be hurt by that response? Probably not. It was noted during her illness that Selena was attended to by Justin as he skipped an NHL Finals hockey game. Isn't his presence and skipping a major sports game enough of a gift?
